Training
JD Security Services work closely with Learn Assist who can offer NOCN approved security training for individuals looking to gain their SIA license and work in the security industry.
Learn Assist provide a four day Door Supervision training course which runs from Monday to Thursday 9.00am - 5pm. Completing this course enables you to work on both licensed and unlicensed premises.
The course is divided into two modules:
- Communication and Conflict management
- The Role and Responsibility of a Door Supervisor
The course includes a 1-hour multiple-choice test at the end of each module. You will receive a certificate of achievement with which you can then apply for your SIA licence.
The course is available to anyone, no previous experience necessary.
JD Security Services can also offer training in the following:

- NASDU (National Association of Security Dog Users)
- BIPDT (British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers)
We offer additional advice on various courses and training that you may feel relevant to furthering your career with JD Security. Many of the courses on offer can be subsidised through the Local Council.
